Side note: I installed a fresh copy of PA.c Platform 14.4.3 on my Windows 7 圆4 clean virtual machine and was able to install Firefox, Google Chrome, and McAfee Stinger without issue. If IE can't download files, then our updater can't either. The PA.c Updater/App Store uses Windows networking components just like Internet Explorer does. It's a freeware app, so it is hosted on our servers, not on SourceForge.Īlso, be sure you are able to download McAfee Stinger, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome from our site using Internet Explorer on the affected computer. On the affected machine, please try to download Balabolka Portable. If there were an issue with that on your 64-bit machine, you would not even know which apps are out of date as it couldn't get the database. There's no difference in the update process between 32-bit Windows and 64-bit Windows other than which version of 7-Zip is used to unzip the updater database.
